Advanced Solid Propellant Development Summary
Presentation given by Gary Rosenfield at the TRATECH technical conference during LDRS-39 in Wendover, NV on 7/30/21. This presentation discusses the research, formulation and testing that resulted in a high-solids high-energy HTPB propellant formulation that can be mixed, cast and cured at room temperature with no plasticizer. Also includes a review of polyurethane chemistry and terminology, and information on how to calculate OH equivalent weights and NCO:OH ratios.
